On Saturday, December 3rd , the Kiwanis Club of Huntington Beach helped clothe 130 children from Huntington Beach. The club with the help of Walmart and local community donations provided $100 Walmart gift certificates and volunteers took the children around Walmart at 6:30 in the morning.

The club has been putting on this project for at least 15 years and I have personally attended at least 6 of these events, starting back when I was a Key Clubber at Marina High School. It is awesome to see the smiles on the children as they pick out new clothes.
